The Yellow Wallpaper

Two booklets were made to accompany an installation based on the short story, ‘The Yellow Wallpaper’, written in 1892 by Charlotte Perkins Stetson. The booklet covers are adapted from that of the 1899 edition, published by Small, Maynard & Company, Boston MA. Book One contains selected passages from the original story, with images from installation in Kirkbride Precinct, Callan Park, 2019. Book Two is a concertina book in which a damask yellow wallpaper pattern transforms and degrades along the length of the concertina sheet.
