About

I’m a Sydney based artist, living and working on the traditional land of the Wangal clan of the Eora nation.

I work across a wide range of media, including drawing, painting, print media, video and animation, and installation.

Recently I’ve taken a deep dive into surface pattern design, creating repeating patterns with a view to licensing them for fabric, wallpaper and other items. I love the opportunity it affords to use both digital and analogue techniques. In fact, pattern design brings together so many of my long term passions: botanical art; drawing intricate, tangled compositions, illustration, historical wallpaper and decorative arts, that I feel we are a match made in heaven. I‘ve completed Bonnie Christine’s ‘Immersion’, a 12 week course on Surface Pattern Design and Adobe Illustrator, and I’m currently studying historical pattern design in the 12 week course ‘Repertoire’ with Bärbel Dressler.

I have a Bachelor of Visual Art from the Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney, 2022 and a Diploma of Fine Art from Meadowbank TAFE, 2012. I’m an actively exhibiting member of the eco-arts collective, The Tree Veneration Society, a group of artists devoted to championing trees, promoting respect and protection for those in both our urban environment and forests. Through the TVS, I’ve gained experience in making grant applications, and planning and running exhibitions and associated events.
